Marketing in the New Normal
- Be Intentional. In your marketing, show your clients how you are going to continue to care for them and your employees. That means only sharing images of employees following the current CDC guidelines. This is a great time to get to know your audience better so that you can stay relevant and aware of what they are currently experiencing. Show them you are there for them.
- Be Open to Change. As we have already seen, guidelines and restrictions are going to continue to evolve and change. It’s important to show your clients that you are willing to change. During the pandemic, it meant creating opportunities for telemedicine, curbside service, and protected spaces. As we move into the new normal, your customers and clients might continue to expect those services. Be open and willing to change your standard so that you can continue to build trust.
- Optimize Your Online Presence. During the peak of the pandemic, most businesses moved to an online presence. As mentioned before, consumers have now grown used to these services. Now is the time to optimize that online presence. That means using social media well, creating a Google My Business listing and optimizing it, ensuring your SEO and website content is updated, and marketing on more than one platform. It’s important to stay in front of your clients, and show that you care for them.
